The Healing Garden quilt depicts flowers and vegetables to promote health and well-being.
This quilt was created by Joyce Graff in celebration of her son who has battled von Hippel-Lindau and kidney cancer all his life. It was donated to the Transplant Center of Beth Israel Hospital in Boston to thank the staff for their wonderful care. A companion quilt hangs in the Women’s Cancer Center at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. They are a beautiful and lasting reminder that our connections in the fabric of life are woven with love and hope.
Proceeds from the sale of these cards support the Powerful Patient, Inc., a 501(c)(3) US charity (IRS tax ID 46-0700528) in providing help and hope to people with complex medical conditions and cancers.
This quilt was created by Joyce Graff, with assistance from Wilma Cogliantry and Dennis McGregor. Many of the fabrics in the quilt depict plants used in the treatment of cancer.
