The Rotary Club of World Disability Advocacy proudly sponsors a virtual, free, all-day Inclusive Education. This international Summit is on Saturday, October 26, 2024. This event is dedicated to improving the education of children with disabilities and will feature more than 35 presenters from over 13 countries.
Among the speakers are Habin Grima, a leading disability advocate, and 17-year-old Ava Chan from Hong Kong, who established an Autism Center at 12. We are also honored to have world-renowned Author Ludmila Praslova, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, who will share insights on the importance of focusing on the individual in education and workplaces. This is a unique opportunity to hear from these esteemed individuals and gain valuable insights into inclusive education.
Our presenters will delve into a rich tapestry of topics throughout the day, from 8 AM Eastern US Time to 9 PM. These include the distinction between inclusive education and special needs education, the empowerment of inclusive education teachers, and the invaluable perspectives of parents and caregivers. The summit will also explore the world of assistive technology, the significance of an inclusive education policy and curriculum, and the crucial task of preparing children for life beyond secondary education.
